Chris Hayles
Christopher Hayles portrayal of Sammy Davis, Jr. is astounding. Chris says that he has to buy his clothes from "Toys R Us" because of his diminutive size, but that doesn't stop him from sharing his boundless energy and charm as he portrays Sammy. He captures your heart as he sings some of Sammy's famous songs such as "Candyman, What Kind of Fool Am I, Somethings Gotta Give and Mr Bo Jangles". |

Mixed Blood Entertainment
Cheryl Henry, founder and
president of Mixed Blood Entertainment, has been dancing since she was six
years old. In her early years, she studied ballet, piano, gymnastics, and
figure skating. As a career, she pursued her interest in accounting, business
administration, events and project management. She has worked with independent
artists, small businesses, non-profit charitable organizations, in film and
video productions. Cheryl never released her desire for the entertainment arts
and her passion to dance, taking up Lindy Hop/Swing dance classes after reading
a newspaper article in March 2000. Eager to learn about her African roots and
Afro-centric dances, Cheryl approached this African -American style of dance
with great enthusiasm and has been dancing ever since. Cheryl studies with
local teachers and international Lindy Hop, Tap, Jazz, and music masters
Frankie Manning, Norma Miller, Chester Whitmore, Chazz Young, Skip Cunningham,
Jeni LeGon, Dawn Hampton, and Sugar Sullivan. Cheryl has performed on stage in
Minneapolis, Key West, festivals and events in Toronto and Ottawa. With MBE,
she is now "On The R.O.A.D," endeavouring to educate herself on Afro-centric
dances, as well as provide authentic historical details in performances,
presentations, dance classes and workshops.
